The Flip Phones are an indie acoustic-driven rock band from Arlington, Va. They blend modern musical stylings with classical inspiration to create quirky songs with catchy melodies and well-crafted lyrics. Music by The Flip Phones challenges listeners to ponder little moments and big questions.

The Flip Phones' debut album, Better in the Dark, was a 2022 WAMMIE award finalist for best rock album. It draws on the melodica stylings of Gorillaz and the songwriting of Neko Case, with a twist of lyrical luminaries The Decemberists.

“It’s a Sign” is a new single by The Flip Phones that is live now on Bandcamp and will be released on all streaming platforms on December 13, 2024. The song is the lead single from the band's upcoming EP -- Spinning Adrift -- that will be released in spring of 2025.
